Help Barb’s Battle

Sometimes you get to choose your battles, and sometimes they choose you.

Barbara (Bender) Latvenas was recently diagnosed with Stage 4, small cell lung cancer that has begun to move though her body. This wonderful woman, wife, and mother of 3 girls was given the scare of her life while visiting the hospital for what she thought was back pain. Unfortunately that was not the diagnosis she was given.

Oncologists have told us that with this rapid moving cancer that we should be preparing for the fight. Barb is a fighter and will have the best support system in her corner. Unfortunately she will not be able to return to work for some time and if you know her - it’s hard to keep her still. But that doesn’t mean the bills will stop coming & insurance also doesn’t cover everything.

Please join us in helping our friend, mom, co-worker, softball coach & strong woman with a little extra support in this very difficult time. No donation is too large or too small. Also, prayers are always accepted.
