Barberena Family battle with COVID-19

Donation protected
I am asking for your support for a great friend and good man, Allan Barberena. Many of you know him from his work at 1145 Market or perhaps at the convenience store where he also works, perhaps you know him as a friend or you may just be a giving supporter. Allan is a great friend of ours and has worked for a vendor that supports Trinity Staff for 17 years and is truly a part of the extended work family.

Allan’s family of Granada, Nicaragua and San Francisco, CA, has been hit hard by the COVID-19 virus. His mom, Luby Obando, brother Rodrigo Barberena both battled COVID-19, with his dad Juan Jose currently hospitalized in a Managua ICU on a ventilator. He is also under care by his cardiologist as he had open heart surgery a few years ago and has developed tachycardia, a condition that makes your heart beat more than 100 times per minute. As of June 24th, Juan had a setback and has an infection in his lungs that the doctors are battling with medication to help control it.

The Barberena family does not have insurance and the medical bills are high and continue to grow with Juan currently hospitalized at a rate of $3,500 a day. The Barberena family has generously emptied their savings accounts to pay down $20,000 of their father’s medical bills but as there is no date as to when he will be released the bills will continue to grow. While we understand COVID-19 has affected a lot of people monetarily, we are asking for any help for the Barberena family. If you can afford to help in any capacity it would be greatly appreciated, if not, please give this a share. Thank you!

¡Gracias!
