Help Barbara fight and kick breast cancer in the butt!
Barbara was diagnosed with breast cancer in August of 2014. She underwent a double mastectomy on October 8th. While recovering at home, Barbara had complications due to an infection. She spent an additional 7 days in the hospital and underwent a second surgery on November 14th. Unfortunately, pathology results came back letting us know that Barbara is a stage 3 breast cancer patient. Due to the stage of her breast cancer, Barbara will have to undergo both chemotherapy and radiation.
Everything is happening so quickly and is becoming very costly! Multiple surgeries, unpaid medical leave, chemotherapy, radiation, paying monthly bills, and raising a son as a single mom has become very difficult to manage. It may be weeks or months before Barbara is able to return to work.
