Barbara's campaign for Pacoima Urban Village

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for taking notice and showing interest in our efforts for support toward raising funds to establish a new women's center/ shelter. We are Pacoima Urban Village  a non for profit community social service agency serving the San Fernando Valley since the year 1998

Our mission is "To enhance the lives of our community through health, education and economic development." We have done this by the many social, educational programs we offer our community such as drug abuse prevention/counseling, health, education, and economic development toward self sufficiency. We also serve a multitude of services for; seniors, children, youth and adults.

We'd like to give everyone the chance to help support and better our community by donating funds that will be used for the start of a new shelter, specializing in the recovery and rehabilitation of women and children who've had to struggle with domestic violence. Our goal is to raise $7,000 in order to begin this project with a professional grant rider with the skills to seek federal funding. So far we have only raised $1,000 and need at least $6,000 immediately to start! Please help us break the cycle of domestic violence. It's never too late. The community is very grateful for all contributions made.
