The foundation of the AAPCCA Hardship Fund was laid years before Barb applied to the BOD. It’s significance has always been to be of help to those AAPC members in need. Barb’s application to the BOD stated she wanted to share the enthusiasm she had for the AAPC and the coding profession and she did that and more.
We would like to honor her and all the lives she touched with this memorial fund. As a member of the AAPCCA Board of Directors (BOD) she lead by example and was an inspiration and a resource for countless members. This certainly fulfills her goal, as stated on her application to be a part of working together with all the members of the AAPC.
