I am writing on behalf of my mom. As many of you know my mom has been living in puerto vallarta for several years and is a very active member of the community.
For many years she has tried to obtain health insurance but continually has been denied because of her age.
she is now 80 and has been extremely heathly. Unfortunalty, Last night, in her home, her ankle gave way and she fell and shattered her hip. She is in the hospital and awaiting surgery.
We are facing a financial crisis - her medical bills will be 20,000 usd or more. Any donation is greatly appreciated
