Barajas-Flores Family

Family and friends we have created this GoFundMe page to help with the funeral, medical & financial costs Erick and Nasia will encounter after the death of their precious wife and mother, Karina.
Karina Barajas-Flores mother, wife, sister, daughter, cousin, niece, tia, comadre, friend are some of the titles most of us will use to describe our relationship to Kari. She was full of life, funny, loving, bossy & much, much, more.
Some of us have had the pleasure of knowing her since she was born: so tiny, the size of a doll and who was almost 2 years old when she started to walk! She had a magnetic personality just like her mother, Helen, who passed away on October 5, 2000.
Karina was the kind of person who drew people to her and made them laugh. Those of you who knew her know exactly what I'm talking about. Never a dull moment when she was around. She was silly and enjoyed having a good time. How many remember when she imitated people in her life?
Kara was also a loving and caring person. She loved her family and friends so much. She was a woman of great faith and she fought the fight of her life as her body started giving out on her.
Her failing kidneys had her going to dialysis several times a week. Then a couple of weeks ago she underwent open heart surgery to repair a hole in her heart. The surgery and her other health issues took it's toll on her weak body but her faith never faltered.
God chose to relieve her of her pain and suffering. Her story does not end there, Karina wanted to be a donor and so she will continue to help others with what she can.
