Bar'n'Bus Fundraiser [24hr 3 Peak Challange]

I have been working for Bar'n'Bus  now for just over 6 months and, as we come into a time where projects are starting to take off and grow it is really important that we find funding to be able to provide as many provisions for young people as manageable. This is done through funding bids and applications however we still important to draw in as many funding as possible hence this adventure

I will be taking part in the National 3 Peaks Challenge in September of this year! What does it involve? The challenge is is across 2 days and requires me to ascend and descend the three highest peaks in the United Kingdom, within a 24hr time period!

The money that I raise through doing this will be funded straight into Bar'n'Bus and put to use developing;

-          Detached Youth Work

-          Community Based Positive Activity Sessions

-          Mobile Unit Work 

-          After School Provisions

-          In School Lunchtime ‘Walk arounds’

-          In-School Mentoring for Young People


I am passionate about walking with young people as they transition into adulthood, offering support and helping them to live out full, healthy and meaningful lives!
