Becoming Darth Vader

Donation protected
Hey there friends and family,
I have a really amazing opportunity that I’d like to share with you! I was chatting with one of my coworkers recently, just the usual, we were talking about our lives, job and the mild monotony of the day to day, when he suggested I pick up a hobby, or find an outlet of some sort. I realized I haven’t thought of doing anything ‘bigger’ in my life in quite a while, and I realized how important it is to have something to do that you really love. So, I asked him what his hobbies were. He insisted he didn’t have many but.. there was a nonprofit he belonged to which gave to children in need. I was very interested right away. I grew up with my Mother’s daycare in our home and I knew what it was like to look down at a young persons face and see the ear to ear smile and twinkle of pure joy in their eyes when they were happy. He continued to explain that he dresses up as a professional stormtrooper and makes appearances with this non profit at major parks and hospitals. All of the money they make as a group goes to a select few foundations supporting children of different needs. (the characters the group depicts are role played and screen accurately depicted) He then with a breath of excitement suggested I take the role of Darth Vader!!! Given my stature I would be close to the same height in uniform as the actor originally dipicting the role, and with a little investment I could be the closest thing in his opinion to the “real deal” since the movie release.
I found my mind in a tornado of ideas and emotions thinking about all the ways this tool of charity could work to bring so much joy to fans young and old. The positivity of this opportunity would bring me great joy as a hobby and ability to give back to the ones who need it most, our children. It might seem simple in comparison to the enormity of what most of these children are going through, but that’s exactly why it’s so special. Having the opportunity to bring smiles and excitement to little ones who have been robbed of so many of the happy childhood moments they should be experiencing is something I’m so excited to be a part of, and I’d like to ask you to join me on the journey to make this dream a reality. In order to become Darth Vader, I need to raise the money to transform my 6’ 9” self into the Sith Lord we’ve all come to know and love. If you’d like to donate even one dollar towards making it happen, it would mean the world to me. Much love.
