Raising Funds to feed the NHS
This is a time of crisis where we can only look at what hope and good can come through in these dark times.
We, at BAO, want to show our support and appreciation to the NHS and it’s workers by feeding them free, heart warming, delicious meals to nourish them in these dark times. As some of you know, we are launching Rice Error by BAO delivery service soon.
With the delivery service, BAO will cook up free hot meals en masse made with love and care for the NHS, and with your support and donations we will be able to cook up even more meals and serve to those on the frontline. We will be supplying to hospitals in London, who have been in touch with us, and we know the difference it will make to their long and tough working days.
We hope that this will go some way to show them how much Britain is in awe of those working on the front line, who are putting their lives at risk every day. The NHS heroes, who are often over worked, and under-nourished, working 20-hour shifts, with little time to cook and to go to shops to buy food.
Homeless
The homeless are one of the most vulnerable groups in this pandemic. Over 4,000 people are sleeping rough at any one time on the streets of England. Self isolating is not even an option for those without a home. People experiencing homelessness are more likely than most to have an issue with their health.
We will be reaching out to work with local shelters and charities to help distribute hot meals to feed the homeless. Please give generously, and give a thought to those in society most at risk to the virus and who are less fortunate.
How the funds will be used
100% of the money raised will go directly to providing hot meals to hospitals and to the homeless and is not for profit.
Many of you will want to know how the funds will be used. We will keep it simple:

- Food Costs
- Packaging Costs
- Any delivery costs
Nothing else. Everything else including labour costs will be covered by us.
Safe working environment
We will adhere to strict procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all our staff and delivery drivers.
Social distancing will be maintained at all times and relevant hygiene supplies will be supplied to staff.
