The Baltimore Banners - Hockey in the Hood

Banners Hockey is a program of The Tender Bridge, a Baltimore non-profit that delivers unsupported, at-risk youth to sports programs. The Banners learn ice hockey and Life Lessons through mentorship delivered by our dedicated volunteers. In addition to playing hockey, we share meals together, take field trips, and attend weekly Life Lesson Sessions, intended to give our boys a safe space to share and discuss issues in their lives.

Our goal is to give some of Baltimore's most disadvantaged kids a chance to understand more about the outside world and to boost their self-worth through the accomplishment of mastering the complex skill set required to play ice hockey.

Our annual costs total approximately $10,000. Please help us by donating. Upon receipt of your contribution, we will mail you a letter for your tax purposes.

The Tender Bridge is a Maryland non-profit. For more information about The Tender Bridge, please email the Director, Noel Acton:  [email redacted]
