Banks Family Adoption Fund

Hello Everyone!!  We are so excited to announce we are adopting a little boy from China! We have been blessed with so much, and we feel like there is so much more we can be giving of ourselves. Recently, our eyes were opened to all of the abandoned  children in the world, particularly those who have been abandoned because of special (sometimes very serious) medical needs.  Our hearts break for every one of them.  Because of this, we committed ourselves to finding a child who needs us as parents.

The search did not take long!  Out of the many many children, waiting to be adopted, one very special little boy in China touched our hearts. We were told he is identified as having a special medical need and that other families had been concerned by his combined prognosis. We took time to learn more about this special medical need, but it did not take long for us to decide that we were more than willing and definitely able to move forward with the adoption. Once we made this decision, in our hearts, this little boy became our son.  His name is Lincoln! We cannot wait until we get to meet him.

We believe all children,  even those with serious medical special needs, deserve to know the love of a family and be given the opportunity to live their lives to the fullest.  This is our role - our purpose - in Lincoln's life. We are so exicted and cannot wait to begin this adventure.

We have no doubt that having Lincoln in our lives will bless us more than we could ever bless him. We are so thankful God allowed us to find him and for the opportunity to be his parents.
