Unafraid to ask... This gofundme is a mothers social experiment.
This is my 28 year old baby girl Marissa, she now has aggressive stage 3 breast cancer (why is it going for our children?) we have raised our three kids to be independent, self sufficient and productive members of their families, society, and their communities, and they are!.. We have succeeded! They are also apparently too proud to ask for help. At this point however, mom is not.
Her father and I are recently retired and now have the time for support but not the extra money for gas or helping her with food and other bills. One week ago was her first of twenty weeks of chemo, she's not able to be at work lately and we've only just begun.
Most of us know someone who has faught cancer and the struggle with common household chores and bills and how it can become a dreadful necessity.
A lot of love and a few extra dollars are needed and can go a long way, if you have extra of either we would be so grateful for both.
