MEET BAMBI:
Daughter, sister, wife and mother of two. Strong and fearless from birth, with a quick smile, helpful nature and a passion for life and all its sarcasm! One of the rare people who will always give you her full attention no matter the circumstance. Needless to say, she is a rock in our family. A Superwoman.
Bambi was first diagnosed in February 2011 with breast cancer. After chemo, a lumpectomy and radiation she was cancer free, however, May of 2012 brought a new lump to light. Some had escaped and found a new home in her bones. The last nine months and three rounds of chemotherapy have taken a heavy toll on Bambi and her family. Through twice weekly doctor visits and treatments she continues to fight. Cancer is a full time job yet she still makes it to the office and her daughter's performances and competitions, gladly embracing life, grateful and thankful for all it brings.
MEET BAMBI'S DEARS:
Bambi's Dears are composed of friends, family and admirers of Bambi. We first gathered together under this name in October 2012 for the American Cancer Society's "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk in hopes the donations would help find a cure. Though too weak to walk, Bambi was with the group through the entire event because she couldn't sit back and watch people come out to help her and others without sharing her support.
