BALI Covid-19 appeal for friends in Pejeng, Bali

Can you help by donating $10AUD or more?

The income for the majority of Balinese families is 100% derived from tourists. Due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions, my Balinese friends in the village of Pejeng, close to Ubud, no longer have an income due to the collapse of the tourism industry. 

This is an appeal to send cash donations directly to families via trusted Balinese contacts in Pejeng.  A donation of $10 of more would go a long way and enable the purchase of essentials such as;

-  bottled water
-  face masks
-  cooking oil, rice, eggs
-  soaps, cleaning products
-  medicines, hygiene products
-  tofu, vegetables, meats
-  electricity credit, wifi credit
-  fuel for motorbikes

The village of Pejeng is where I lived for 6 months in 2017. Donations will be withdrawn in Bali at Bali ATMs using my personal travel debit cards (via my contacts). Cash will then be distributed to various families as per my instructions.

I will ask recipients to take photos of their purchases. Seeing the results of a donation can be a great feeling.
