BALI Covid-19 Appeal

Our friends in Bali have been economically devastated by the Covid-19 Pandemic. The island has now been declared as a state of emergency by Bali’s Governor. So many people have lost their jobs as 95% of all foreign tourist arrivals dries-up.
Balinese people mostly earn around $300 per month and have very little savings. Some have no or little access to social welfare.
Australians have a wonderful connection with Bali and its people, built-up for over 50 years.
The Indonesia Institute Inc., based in Perth is creating a Go-Fund-Me project to raise money to help struggling families in Bali.
We are a highly respected not-for-profit organisation, where everyone works as a volunteer, and operates closely with government and organisations in Bali.
Indonesia Institute Inc. collaborates with Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) Bali, the leading private university in Bali, to distribute the fund to those in need.
The team from Undiknas will contact and coordinate with municipal and village stakeholders to identify people and communities who need help, and also identify the kinds of assistance that are needed. Hence the the assistance provided would be right on target. Any local required health protocols will also be followed.
Bali is in trouble. We need to help now.
We here in Australia are also hurting, but can we just spare some small funds to really make a difference.
