I’m raising at least £300 as part of my school’s Uganda Charity Project. To fundraise, I’ve already completed a 20km cycle around Richmond Park and over the weekend I’m running a bake sale!
The money raised will support several incredible organisations in Uganda:
M-Lisada: whose mission is to protect, heal, empower, and support vulnerable children and youth through music, life skills, and education.
The Mummy Foundation: which works to empower women and children by investing in education, skills training, healthcare, and economic opportunities. Their programs help young mothers and vulnerable families break the cycle of poverty and build brighter futures.
Patience Primary School, where we’ll be donating resources and helping children in need.
As well as projects with:
Small Steps - a foundation who support, educate and promote the inclusion of young children with learning disabilities.
St Francis de Sale - a school dedicated to serving the deaf and disabled in Uganda.
After our trip, we (the students) will meet to decide how best to distribute our fundraising, so that each charity receives the support it needs most.
Every donation, big or small, helps me reach my £300 target and will directly make a difference to children, families, and young mothers in Uganda. Thank you so much for your support!
