COVID TOOK OVER. Austrians are stuck at home in a collective effort to contain this virus. We don't know what's going to happen in the next days, weeks or even months and we also don't know whats going on at the moment.
Personally I'm stuck on solo quarantine and I am overwhelmed by the situation so I just started to do what I love: baking. First, I thought of publishing an e-book filled with recipes. But honestly, fuck money, and fuck the business momentum.
Baking has helped me overcome my fears and it has given me a purpose and a livelihood. People are facing weeks without any kind of routine, weeks of boredom, or anxiety - seeking a distraction, a hobby or something to keep the kids entertained. I hope that the recipes I will share with you brings you and your families the joy the same joy I feel when baking and sharing cookies, brownies and all kinds of treats with the ones I love. Until today it never felt right to share my recipes, but if I can make people happier and actually HELP PEOPLE by sharing, then that's what I will do. And I believe that now is the time to do so.
Take a moment to appreciate how fortunate we are in the safety of your homes and think of those who sacrifice their health and time for our community. Doctors, pharmacists, nurses and social services are doing an incredible job and while we can't actively help them right now, we can do our best to raise money to financially support them from the comfort of our homes.
Hospitals are in urgent need of funds to prepare for the worst-case scenario while SOS Kinderdorf is facing novel problems due to this outbreak. The proceeds you donate on this page will be split 50 : 50 between Caritas and SOS Kinderdorf.
