A few weeks ago, we were informed that Bailey’s stepfather had been diagnosed with Leukemia and is currently undergoing treatment in Vancouver, BC. To support him and the countless other Canadians battling this insidious disease, Bailey and her best friend Ella decided to create a fundraiser for Leukemia research with all proceeds benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada. Bailey and Ella have also made a presentation which they will be delivering at their elementary school in Nanaimo, BC to raise awareness!
The girls originally posted the campaign online on December 11, 2021, with a goal of $2,500 and within hours – as a result of the heartwarming support from numerous donors - they had surpassed $5,000!
Now the girls have decided to make an even bigger impact with a goal of raising $10,000 by 4pm on December 17, 2021.
We know it’s an expensive time of year so please do not feel obligated though, if you can, a small donation to this very worthy cause would be greatly appreciated.
