Bailey & Baby G's Fetal Surgery Fund

We discovered at 20 weeks that our son has a neural tube defect called spina bifida, and we are candidates for fetoscopic surgery. The best place for the surgery is in Houston, TX and this surgery will require us to relocate for the remainder of the pregnancy, then we will travel back once our little guy is born and it's safe for him to travel.

This surgery will help in many ways, but some of the benefits include: hind-brain herniation reversal, protecting (and potentially improving) his ability to ambulate, close up the opening in his lower back to preserve any mobility and lower body function he may currently have. 

We will be leaving in about a week and will remain in Houston until May/June. The expenses are certainly going to add up, between flight costs, short term rental costs, our current mortgage in Washington, meals, hospital bills, etc. We will be relying heavily on our savings, our family's help, and any generosity of our community, and we truly, and I mean TRULY appreciate all of the incredible people who have already offered to help.
