Hi, my name is Pamela Fay, and I’m reaching out with love and hope for my adopted mom, Fran Johnson Bahr.

In June 2007, my world changed forever when my boyfriend RJ—Fran and Jim Bahr’s only son—was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident. In the wake of that heartbreak, Fran and Jim became family to me. I adopted them as my own parents, and since then, I’ve done everything I can to care for them, just as RJ would have wanted.

Now, they’re facing incredibly hard times.

Fran is battling breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy in January. Her strength amazes me every day, but the fight is far from over. Meanwhile, Jim—who has his own serious health issues—still works every single day just to keep food on the table and the lights on. They’re doing everything they can, but it’s not enough.

To help make ends meet, Fran has started making beautiful Handcrafted Beaded Bracelets, selling them for just $10 each. Every bracelet is made with love, hope, and the quiet resilience of a woman fighting for her life.

As their adopted daughter, I’m doing all I can to support them while also caring for my own mother and growing family. It’s the greatest way I know to honor RJ’s memory—by loving and supporting the people he loved most.
