<div>Rescat, a registered non-profit organization in Bahrain, is spearheaded by a team of five women on a mission to reshape the community's view of cats through education, care, and rehoming efforts.

<div>The staggering number of cats abandoned on our streets far outpaces adoption rates. This has led us to seek homes abroad, in countries like the UK, The Netherlands, and Belgium.

<div>These cats often require extensive medical treatment due to neglect and abandonment, and with high veterinary costs, we rely solely on your donations, as we receive no government or corporate support. The prevalence of illegal backyard breeding compounds the issue, with many cats suffering from conditions like ringworm, mycoplasma and FIV.

<div>Our team works tirelessly to provide medical care and socialization for these cats, but the lack of foster homes in Bahrain makes our mission even more challenging.
