Gofund Me Requirements:

2. Your relationship or contact to the parties you're raising funds for
We are raising funds to purchase supplies to bring to the people in Grand Bahama from Old Bahama Bay to Lucaya. We will bring the supplies to Churches for distribution.
3. How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible)
We will spend the funds on these supplies:
Basic survival items, such as canned food and baby food. Medical supplies, including gauze, bandages, and antiseptic. Another big need is bug spray and citronella candles to fend off mosquitoes. They are also in need of diapers, baby wipes, and feminine products. Lastly, we are looking for basic tools and shelter supplies including tarps, nails, duct tape, hammers, rope, batteries, flashlights, generators, power cords, cots and air mattresses.
4. Your withdrawal plan to get the funds from the campaign to the ultimate beneficiary/ies
We will withdraw funds Thursday October 13th to allow time to purchase goods and load on vessel for departure to Grand Bahama Friday October 14, 2016.
Grand Bahama Island is just one of the many places throughout the Caribbean and the Southeastern United States that has been dramatically impacted by Hurricane Matthew. The total death toll from this storm is now @ 1,027, a devastating storm. We here in South Florida were extremely fortunate and now it's time we step up and help others out that weren't so lucky.
I've done some research and found that the following items are most needed:
Basic survival items, such as canned food and baby food. Medical supplies, including gauze, bandages, and antiseptic. Another big need is bug spray and citronella candles to fend off mosquitoes. They are also in need of diapers, baby wipes, and feminine products. Lastly, we are looking for basic tools and shelter supplies including tarps, nails, duct tape, hammers, rope, batteries, flashlights, generators, power cords, cots, air mattresses, and boxes/containers to consolidate items.

2600 SW 3rd Ave.
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315
From 7 am to 6 pm until Thursday.
If you'd like to donate money on here, please do so up until this thursday 10/13/16 until 6 pm. At that time we will take the funds and purchase supplies. We'll post the receipts as well as the pictures of the supplies so you can see the tremendous impact you've made. Additionally, we'll share pictures and news of Grand Bahama Island and it's residents once we arrive on Friday.
