Bonding Active Communities Society (BACSociety) is a registered non-for-profit volunteer based organization.
In 2013 a project called LatinRunners was successfully launched to integrate the community through running clubs in BC. Soon after, we realized we were keeping women active, and at the same time, we were building a very supportive community with the foundations for adaptation, well being and sense of belonging. We have successfully impacted +300 Latin families with this project.
We need $70,000 to deliver this program in 2016. Starting Winter 2015 the organization will allocate most of its resources and time to raise funds in the community. Our goal is to expand the program in Fall 2016 to other communities of multicultural women.
Our Mission: Provide safe spaces where women empower each other and themselves through running, leadership development and volunteer engagement.
