Bacon Rouge Hogs for the Cause Fund

Weerree Baaaaaaack......! Back, and better than ever. In case you missed it, WE WON! Bacon Rouge voted #1 Best Butt at Hogs for the Cause 2015! And our pork shoulder wasn't bad, either.
Our 2016 team is going to be bigger and better than before, and we still need help filling the collection bucket to get us back up on the Championship stage next Spring.
Anything and everything you donate goes directly in to our $$ donation to Hogs for the Cause and their efforts to help families with a child being treated for Pediatric Brain Cancer. The money that Hogs gives to families in need goes to help them with everything from transportation to medical centers, food, bill payments, laundry....its suprising how many things we all do every day that become a tremendous burden to families in need.
The little boy in the photos is Craig. Earlier this year, the Guys from Hogs for the Cause let us be a part of their presentation to Craig's Mom, Alison. We made a great connection with Craig and Alison and ended up adopting him as a Bacon Rouge team memeber. Craig is doing great, but it will be a few years before he is big enough to run the smoker.....
So there it is, we are a crazy bunch, but we are serious about getting as big a donation as we can not only so we can yell and scream up on stage, but to help out Craig's family and others like them.
