Bacon the Boston Terrier's Dental Procedure
Donation protected
Hi there, my name is Sarah Davidson, and I'm raising money to help my 9-year-old Boston Terrier, Bacon (formally Sir Francis Bacon), get some necessary but expensive dental work done.
Because he was very sick and weak as a puppy, he's grown up into a loveable old dog with a ton of health issues. Many of his issues, like his panic attacks and breathing complications, make it very risky for him to be put under anesthesia to get any dental work done. Thank goodness for Veterinary Animal Services, whose Board-Certified Veterinary Oral Specialist and Registered Canine Anaesthesiologist specialize in performing complicated dental work on old and anxious dogs!
The price estimate we were quoted for treating his loose tooth, his cracked molar, and his periodontal disease is in the range of $3,000 - $5,000. We believe it's worth it to make sure Bacon isn't in any pain, and is treated by a specialist who knows the risks and can make sure the procedure goes smoothly.
Any little bit will go a long way toward making sure that Bacon's senior years are long and comfortable and happy! Thank y'all so much!
