Have you met Brandi Brownlow?
You may have sat in her classroom, been guided by her on the soccer field, inspired by her as a coworker, or lucky enough to know her as the dear friend and cherished family member that she is. What you may not know is that this wonderful woman and her family have been battling tirelessly for nearly two years to overcome complicated health issues. These health issues have caused her to put her life’s passion of teaching on the back burner. As we all know, anytime a serious medical issue is involved—there are always a mountain of expenses soon to follow, as well as the physical challenges, and an emotional roller coaster all at once. However, Brandi Brownlow, or “Mrs. Brownlow” as most of us likely know her, has the heart of a warrior with the kindness of saint, and that trademark smile that flashes through most our minds whenever we hear her name. Her 13-year old daughter, Marley, will be a freshman at Hays High School next year, while her 10-year old son, Jayden, will be entering 6th grade at Barton. Mrs. Brownlow has been married to her beloved husband Jeremy for 22 years. With this being such a personal experience; we have chosen to keep the details private so that the family isn't bombarded for more information as they focus all efforts where they are needed. After being a teacher at Hays High School for over 20 years, Brandi has lots of friends and family prepared to show their support in any way possible, and our goal is for this drive to show our love and appreciation for one of the most positive and encouraging souls we have ever encountered!
