Back Jackie's Healing Children's Book

Hello Global Community,

I have a vision to bring healing to our youth and their families through story telling.  I am in the process of self publishing a magical animistic book that warms the heart and carries sweet medicine.  I want this book in the hands of families around the world this summer!  

This is a charming story about a boy navigating the messiness of life.  His parents aren't together anymore.   He gets bullied at school, and people don't understand him.    He takes the reader on a heartfelt spirited adventure of healing and beauty.  Journey with Nasir through the  jungle where he meets with his Animal Spirits and moves through initiations where he learns to use his heart as the key to his magic power.  He is being initiated by Mama Nature, and through the experience he finds self acceptance and the courage to walk his path.   

Our ancestors passed down teachings through their stories.    Many were lost!   Our children need medicine stories that reflect the society we live in today.   As we draw on ancient wisdom to uplift  children in the modern world!   There are layers of teachings that are simple and profound.  Our littles need to be supported in their awakening and connection with nature so they can carry it through their lives.    

The story gently touches on the following: 
Living in a single parent home 
Bond between mother and child 
Bullying at school - feeling different and alone
Discovering oneself and building confidence and acceptance 
Power objects -drawing power from things that make us feel good 
Communicating and being in relationship with the natural world 
Lineage gifts
Honoring our unique gifts and sharing them with the world
Nasir's mission to be he voice of nature and help bring balance to the planet
~Life can be challenging and you will get through~

Children ages 6 to 10 years old - Although :)  It is a story for us all at any age
