<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Introduction</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In September of 2024, Intact Global launched a GoFundMe campaign to finance our first constitutional lawsuit to ensure that every child is equally protected under the law from the harms of genital cutting.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In March of 2025, we filed that lawsuit in Oregon.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Since then, this movement has only grown stronger.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We filled the courtroom. We defeated the State of Oregon’s motion to dismiss. And now, we are moving toward a judgment on the merits, with trial currently set for December 2026.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But that was just the beginning.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The Next Step: Colorado</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Just like other major legal movements in American history—whether marriage equality or cannabis reform—lasting change happens state by state.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That is how we will secure equal protection for all children.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, we are launching our second constitutional challenge—this time in Colorado.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our plaintiffs, Tristan Huff and Adam Schwartz, are stepping forward to ask a simple but profound question:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If Colorado’s Constitution guarantees equal protection on the basis of sex, why are some children protected from medically unnecessary genital cutting, while others are not?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Fundraiser Goal</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our goal is to raise $30,000 to fund this next phase of litigation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Once we reach this goal, we will file:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Huff v. Colorado</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>These funds will support The Clopper Law Firm, P.C., co-counsel, and the resources necessary to bring this case forward and see it through.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why This Case Matters</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This lawsuit is about more than Colorado.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It is about building a <strong>state-by-state constitutional movement</strong> that ensures all children—regardless of sex—are equally protected under the law.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Just as female genital mutilation is prohibited, we are asking the courts to confront whether current legal frameworks unjustly allow medically unnecessary genital cutting of other children.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This case has the potential to:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Establish powerful legal precedent
</li>
<li>Expand equal protection jurisprudence
</li>
<li>Accelerate nationwide reform
</li>
<li>Protect future generations from irreversible harm
</li>
<li>Momentum From Oregon
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is not a theoretical effort—it is already working.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In Oregon:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>We successfully filed our first constitutional challenge
</li>
<li>We defeated the State’s motion to dismiss
</li>
<li>We are now advancing toward trial on the merits
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This progress demonstrates that courts are willing to engage with these arguments—and that real change is possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Colorado is the next step.
</div>
