Help Spirit fight a Rare Brain Tumor

Thank you for visiting this donation page for our dear friend, Spirit Novel. On June 18, 2014 Spirit was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor known as an “Acoustic Neuroma”.
The last few months she has been suffering from hearing loss, ringing in the ear, severe headaches and extreme, sinus-type pressure in her head. After several misdiagnoses, a MRI & CT scan located a 19mm tumor deep in her inner left ear. It had been a slow tumor formation but now is pushing on her 8th cranial nerve which affects her hearing, balance and facial movement. Spirit will undergo radiation treatment and/or surgery in order to remove (or at least reduce) the size of the tumor.
While we are optimistic she WILL beat this with the proper medical care and recovery time; the road ahead for her will be a challenging one. She was just getting back on her feet from complete ACL replacement knee surgery, she is now facing more medical bills. Spirit is a strong and independent soul…not one to ask for charity. The debilitating medical treatments and the condition itself has and will continue to prevent her ability to earn an income. Let us join together to lessen Spirit's economic stress.
