Bachelor's Degree in Studio Arts

My name is Terrie Daniel. I am a 63 years of age non-traditional student stage-3 cancer survivor. I attended East Georgia State College in 2017, graduating with my Associate in Art, Spring of 2019. Fall 2019, I attended Georgia Southern University to continue my education for a Bachelor's in Studio Arts. Spring 2022 was the last semester I needed to finish to graduate. February, I contacted COVID. Unfortunately, I had to withdraw from the semester due to complications with health and chemo-related issues due to my cancer treatments. This Fall, I plan to return to GSU and finish my last semester to graduate in December 2022. I owe GSU $2,210.00 to return. The college has put a hold on my account and classes until this amount is paid. I am working a summer job to collect this amount. Still, due to recent surgery (2nd mastectomy) and my health, I am not able to work (full-time) to pay my bills (which are minimal) and save what is needed to take the hold off my school account, so I can go back this Fall to graduate. This hold is required to be released by August 10. I am seeking financial assistance to finish my fall semester and graduate with my Bachelor's in Studio Arts. I would be grateful for any response concerning your help and support in overcoming this obstacle. My academic standing is an excellent GPA of 3.83. Thank you.
