Baby Raphael's NICU Expenses

Donation protected
In a meeting on October 12th with the head of the genetics team the test showed that my nephew, little Raphael (pronounced Ray-fee-el) tested positive for Congenital Central Hypoventilation Syndrome (CCHS).

Below is a link with some additional information about CCHS.

He has had his tracheotomy and G-tube (feeding tube) surgeries and started training with a "pass myrrh valve", which gives him the ability to make sounds.

I apologize for the lack of recent updates but I am all caught up as of the December 9th, which is Raphael's 90th day in the NICU.

I am adjusting the goal of this campaign from $5000.00 to $7000.00 which will cover the cost of the home generator required to finally bring little Raphel home.  A power outage is just an inconvenient for most of us but it is life-threatening to my nephew who needs to be hooked to a ventilator to breathe while he's asleep.

Thank you all for your prayers, kindness, and generosity, please continue to share!!

Thank you all for your continued help and support and please continue to share.

-Original post-

My sister and her husband would never ask anyone for help, but I know they're going to need it.

My nephew was born 0735 on September 11th at the midwives' birthing center and immediately rushed to the NICU.  His lungs have not fully inflated and he is not able to breathe on his own.  Please pray and share; every little bit helps!

Admit it... You've spent $20 on worse things.
