Baby Nikko NICU Fund

This is not something that Chad and I would normally do, but we have to swallow our pride and ask for help. Baby Nikko was born on August 16th at only 33 weeks. He was re-admitted to the hospital a couple of hours after being discharged on Saturday due to hypothermia and he has been there ever since. He has been maintaining his body temperature on his own but around 1:00am he took a turn for the worse. He went into hypothermia with a body temp of 94. After a couple of hours of unsuccessfully trying to warm him up, he was put under a warmer. Baby Nikko then stopped breathing for long periods of time and a Code Blue was called. He had to have help breathing and was sent up to ICU and is now having a machine breathe for him because his little body just can’t do it on his own. He is being sent to Phoebe to the NICU to be cared for there. With that being said, this is going to be costly for us. After a 2 week hospital stay and now NICU, Chad and I will be out of work and having to go back and forth from Moultrie to Albany everyday. This means money for gas, food, etc that we just don’t have at the moment. The hospital hotel stay is $25 a night as well....We are not asking for much, but anything can help. We want to be there for our son, as well as for our girls and want to be able to go back and forth comfortably without the added stress of finances. This has been very hard for us and now this just makes things even harder because we don’t know the outcome of what is going to happen. We want to thank everybody for the help we have received so far during all of this. We are so thankful and blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives. God has provided for us so far and we have faith that His hands are laid upon us, helping us in every way. We love you all and thank you so much in advance.
