Max’s Story:
Hi. My name is Max. I was born five months ago to a mommy who loves me very much. She tried her best to provide a good life for me but she was having a very difficult time. She wanted me to be raised in a home that could provide me with the love and care she knew I deserved. I am very special to her and she wanted to give me a good start in life.
When I was four months old, she made the difficult decision to place me in a home with a new mommy and daddy who already knew and loved me like she did. She placed me with my great-aunt and my great-uncle.
My new mommy’s name is Lynnette and my new daddy’s name is Matt. My birth mommy’s decision was very sudden and my new family did not have time to prepare for my arrival. My new parents had just gotten married and I was waiting at their house for them when they came home from their honeymoon. They consider me to be the best gift they have ever received. I am now healthier and happier than I have ever been.
I love my new mommy and daddy.
Why an Adoption Fund?
Many couples have the opportunity to prepare financially for an adoption or the arrival of a new family member. Lynnette and Matt did not have the time to prepare. They now have the unexpected costs associated with adoption. The Baby Max’s Adoption Fund will be used to help cover the legal fees and court costs that are needed to finalize the adoption. Max’s adoption cannot be complete until the fees are paid.
