CP Medical fund for baby Jace

Baby Jace was born 10 wks early due to a complete placental abruption. He weighed 3 lbs 7 Oz and lost down 2 lbs 14.8 Oz while in NICU. He recently had an Mri of his brain which revealed a pvl brain injury and spastic cerebral palsy. We were told by the pediatrician that Jace would Benefit from a second opinion particularly out of state. I mentioned the mayo clinic and The Dr feels that is one of the best places we could send him as they will evaluate him in neurology and otolaryngology.  There is a minimum  $5000.00 deposit upon arrival of first day appointment. Then anything after the $5000 requires us to pay upfront out of pocket and just another MRI with contrast and sedation is an additional  $6500.00 .  We feel with all our hearts this is the best hospital we could send him to for a 2nd opinion. Because it's out of state insurance WON'T PAY A PENNY! WE are trying to raise money to be able to pay for the extensive treatment and my husband will have to take 1 week of fmla without pay which will put a financial strain on our family I will be setting up a savings account in the next week just for Jace and his medical needs and specifically for this 2nd opinion. He has been diagnosed with more underlying conditions than most adults will in there lifetime.
