For Randy and Cherie's baby

Randy and Cherie are wonderful people and amazing friends. I was elated to hear they would be bringing a new light into this world - a newborn son.  They learned that this pregnancy would not be as routine as others, and although difficult are persevering through each step.  Now, we are reaching out to our community in hopes that we can build additional funds as they move into the next phase of this journey.

Their son is being born with a condition called "Transposition of the Great Artery". This rare heart condition requires the attention of a special medical team away from Hawai'i.  Upon birth, their newborn will undergo an emergency heart procedure to correct the condition.

Due to the location of the medical team the Isokane’s will need to travel out of state. Because of this both of them will be unable to work for a period of time before and after the birth. The purpose of this campaign is to raise funds that will help ease the burden of some of the medical, housing, transportation, and day to day expenses for them while they and their son are in the hospital.

They understand that times are hard all around nowadays but, the gravity of the situation lends itself to the need for charitable action. If you have any excess that you can offer to this effort it would help immensely. Thank you for your time and love.
