Hello! We are the Starnes and we're a happy, healthy family of four.
From our family's beginning we've had a deep passion for adoption and the hope it brings to families on both sides. While we feel so very richly blessed with our two boys, we've always felt our family wasn't quite complete, and, through much prayer, we have decided that now is the time to move forward with our dream- to adopt a little girl. We believe with all of our hearts this is a calling placed upon our lives and what better way to serve our Lord than to be about his business! (James 1:27, Psalm 82:5)
As you may (or may not) know, the adoption process is a long, tedious one with many steps and many hoops to jump through and we are definitely learning as we go! First and foremost, we humbly beseech you to be in constant prayer - for our family as we prepare and make way for this little girl and for the birth mother as she has to make one of the most terrifying and important decisions of her life. We want this to be lead, directed, and completed by God and in His timing. (Matthew 7:7) Second, we must ask you, our friends and family, to consider making a donation financially. As you can imagine, funding an adoption is a huge undertaking and we would appreciate so much your help in completing this dream and fulfilling this passion with us.
Friends and family, we cannot adequately express in words what this little girl and this adoption means to us. We know this goal is a hefty one, but if we break it down - 500 people giving only $50 would complete our goal! And only 250 people donating $100! We’re believing in our dream, we’re believing in our passion, and we’re believing in all of you to help us. Please, if you feel led to help in any way, continue to follow our story here.
