We are a fundraising event created by 3 women, including myself who have a coworker by the name of Jennifer Hulet. Jen is more than a coworker, she is a really close dear friend!
On 9/17/19 at 2am Jen was rushed to the hospital and 55 minutes later Baby Girl Hulet "stormed" into this world at the gestational age of 25 weeks via an emergency C-section. She weighed 1lb 14oz and is 13 inches long. Her lungs still need to develop and one seems to be collapsed but she is going to be ok however she will be in the NICU until December. (Update she suddenly took a tragic turn and passed away 9/23/2019)
Jen suffered a lot of blood loss which has caused her to have multiple blood transfusions and she now has breathing complications. The nurse in the emergency room that night had mentioned the next day that the staff was actually worried Jen would not make it but Jen is a fighter and she pulled through!!
Despite trying, Jen, due to pregnancy related medical issues has been unable to work. She has tried working but her body took a toll for the worst. Jen is a single mom who is independent and does not ask for help. If she was able to work she would have been fine! Well we decided to take this out of her hands and are going to give her the help she deserves and the items her baby needs!
Money collected will be used to purchase baby items (which is everything you can think of, we literally are starting with nothing) those items will be given to Jen and money will also go towards medical bills. Even with Jen's insurance her portion will still be quite a bit. It would be nice if we could also help get her car cleaned being that it is still covered in her blood.
This cause means a lot simply because Jen and her baby mean a lot to us!
