"Hey everyone, I'm Babygirl! Well, that's what this lady who broke me out of prison a few days ago says out loud when she wants my attention. I give it to her every time cause she usually has snacks, or hugs, or snacks, and did I mention snacks?

I've spent the past 3 days trying to thank this hooman but I don't think she understands me. So I've just been staring her in the eyes and hugging her every time she walks in the room...I think it's working cause she seems to get real happy every time!

Omg, have you guys ever heard of a "car ride"? It's awful!!! I'm so happy this hooman helped me with my carefully planned prison escape but I'm all set with that "car ride" stuff, it lasted FOREVER! I refuse to do it again moving forward even though the lady and I are still coming to terms with that fact.

I hate to admit it but she won this battle yesterday and FORCED me into a "car ride" again! I wasn't happy and I sure let her know it by turning my back and shaking like I was in Alaska!

We went to this really cool place though and it was filled with hoomans, doggos, toys, treats, ropes, biscuits, EVERYTHING!!! It was like a dream...until this awful hooman stabbed me with a needle out of nowhere! I didn't even pee on anything!

I wasn't very happy after that but my lady seemed even sadder all of sudden... "

From Babygirl's foster mom: "Last week, I drove to NC to rescue a pup from a high kill shelter with the plan to foster, train, and find them a forever home before doing it all over again. She is my 2nd rescue...

This shelter euthanized 70% of dogs taken in last year. I walked in with $25 and walked out with a dog. They provide no vet care. No shots. No microchip. No neutering. They didn't even know if she was spayed.

She was labeled as "D1986, Medium Shepard Mix, 1yr". She's a fully grown 30lb Black Lab Mix who is 2yrs old. She was diagnosed with heartworm today...

I was prepared to dedicate my time and a little money into helping her live her best life and find the best home...but 3-12 months of heartworm treatment was not on that preparation list...the cost is more than I can handle at this time as a person living alone in a 1bdrm apt in a city...who is also now unemployed due to obvious reasons, lol...

Any help is appreciated more than any adjectives I could list here..."
