Baby K. was born at 22 weeks gestation, weighing 1 lb. 5 oz. she underwent surgery to repair her heart and surgery to insert a shunt in her brain. She was in NICU for 174 days before getting to go home. She's suffered 3 strokes, many setbacks and just had her 15th brain surgery this week to repair the shunt
A fire recently destroyed the apartment complex where Johnna, her daughter, and baby K lived. Not only did they lose everything but Johnna no longer had an apartment complex to manage. Due to Baby K’s surgery Johnna needs to be home helping her recover.
