DeWolf family support fund
On Tuesday March the 3rd my dear sister Chelsea and her Husband Tim were excited to welcome the arrival of their first baby girl, she is their 3rd child. After a very stressful pregnancy and all kinds of concerns due to pregnancy issues, baby girl was born and seemed to be doing great so she was sent home Wednesday morning.
After but a few short hours home she turned grey from oxygen loss, unsure as to why, the family decided to take her to the hospital to get her checked. To the DeWolf's great disappiontment their sweet little angel had a few more episodes of oxygen loss that very day( so bad and to the point that she was given oxygen, or bagged, in order to revive her). While the Hospital was keeping her for 24 hours to monitor the situation.
The hospital thought she had severe reflux which is actually fairly treatable, unfortunately after a week of many oxygen loss episodes and no luck with treatment and episodes seeming to get worse. one being so bad that her pediatritian said she had had a seizure like event and after that she was in a coma like unresponsive state for aprox 2 hours afterwards. This made the doctor concerned of several sicknesses so the baby got a spinal tap to test her cerebrospinal fluild in order to help find out what is wrong. The fluild was tested and everything came back in good order, so doctors still dont know what is causing her to randomly stop breathing.
Yesterday little one was set up and an EEG test to find out what is happening in her brain pathways when these episodes happen. And she will be going in for an MRI soon. This is all we know about little girls situation so far.
We thank all of you for you support and also at this time we are asking for everyones prayers for the Dewolf family
I have set up this fund to help raise some money durring this time. Due to Chelsea basically living at the hospital to be with baby, and Tim needing to be home with the boys and helping at the hospital when he can. Even with grandma there helping this week, baby is keeping everyone busy. Several expenses like time missed from work and crazy parking fees are only making a stressful situation worse.
Updates to follow
Thanks you so much for you prayers and love and support
