In Loving Memory of Arron Collier Jr

Donation protected
On February 20th 2018 at 12:29pm a beautiful baby boy named Arron Kevon Collier Jr was born at 33 weeks. During my pregnancy at 30 weeks my doctor found that I had polyhydramnios (excessive amount of amniotic fluid in the belly) and baby AJ was found to have fluid in his chest around his lungs which is otherwise known as a life threatening, rare condition called Hydrops Fetalis. Hydrops has a 90% fatality rate and unfortunately although rare still affects many babies around the world. In Arron’s case, it’s still unknown what happened as every single test he took while alive came back negative. To this day we still have no answers as many Hydrops parents have none either.

Arron and I stood strong and fought along side of our baby boy in the NICU as he fought the hardest battle. He is a true solider, a true warrior, he is our superhero. His health started to improve significantly, he made great improvements, he was a miracle baby and Hydrops survivor. Unfortunately, March 12th Arron and I got a call from his doctor that AJ had to be intubated as he was suffering from a sudden infection in his intestines that had sent his body into septic shock. After three long weeks of fighting, on March 14th at 2:32PM God wrapped his arms around our beautiful boy as it was time for him to go home. Free of the tubes, free of the needles, free of the pain.

Arron and I are heartbroken and in the process of grieving the pain of what we feel is truly indescribable. But with the constant support and love of our family and friends, it is somewhat easier. With the support of each other, we make sure the other person does not lose themselves. As hard as it is to lose your child, we are trusting in the Lord that he has a bigger plan for our angel up in heaven. Unfortunately with a loss as many of you know, comes expense. On top of caring for our oldest son Max during this trying time and missing work, we are now faced with bills and funeral expenses. If you feel inclined to help, please do so here. If you are not comfortable contributing monetarily, your prayers love and support for Arron, Baby AJ and I are appreciated just as much.

Baby Arron is the strongest person we have ever got the honor of loving. No matter the end, we thank him for fighting as hard as he did just for us. Though physically he is not with us anymore, he will forever be deeply rooted in our hearts and souls. When he passed, he took pieces of us with him that will always be his. We will never ever stop missing him until the day we meet again.

Thank all of you so much and God bless.
