Baby Zylah Reign

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Shawna Riensch and I am reaching out with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for help. Recently, I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl Zylah Reign Hogan Riensch, but what should have been a joyous occasion has turned into a harrowing ordeal due to severe childbirth complications.

During delivery, I faced unexpected complications that required an emergency flight for life C-section, followed by a series of additional surgeries to address life-threatening issues. To make things worse, our daughter will remain in the NICU for months to come, due to a premature emergency birth. Born at one pound fifteen ounces and four months early, we were completely uprooted and overwhelmed.

The medical team has been incredible, but the road to recovery is long and challenging. I am currently unable to work, and the mounting medical bills, combined with everyday living expenses while trying to find housing and resources in an unfamiliar city, are becoming overwhelming. My fiancee Joey Hogan is trying to obtain employment in a new city and do his part but we left everything to be by our daughters side. We basically have our two dogs and what little valuable items we could pack into our little sedan and started over our life from scratch. Insurance has covered some of the expenses, but there are still significant out-of-pocket costs that we cannot afford. Additionally, the ongoing need for specialized care and rehabilitation adds to the financial burden.
