Baby Violet

So this is Violet Jane. Daughter of Lily and Justin.
This precious little peanut, my beautiful grandaughter, at 25 weeks, decided it was time to take on the world. She is 1 lb 15 oz and 13.5 inches long.
Born yesterday, she has already proven she has lots of Sisu! (Tenacity of purpose, grit, bravery, resilience and determination)
The love, positive energy and prayers have undoubtedly influenced this little ones life force.
Lily and Justin are amazing parents already. Violet will thrive and grow and touch many people's lives.
I'm so in love
Lily and Justin are two of the most responsible people I know. They were making plans and doing everything right in preparation for this little love. But as life often does, it threw them a curve ball.
Violet will need to spend at least the next three months in the ICN at Dartmouth Hitchcock in Lebanon NH. This is almost two hours from where they live. This is the best place for Violet to be. They have been offered lodging near the hospital but Justin will need to commute to and from work. They will have to continue to pay rent and bills but will incur much debt with the travel, wear and tear on the vehicle and of course the mounting medical bills.
I have witnessed the generosity of people through GoFundMe and it is my hope that Violet's story will touch the right hearts.
We  will be forever grateful for any help offered to help this new little family spend the time they need together at this crucial time.
