Baby Tysver 4.0
Many of you reading this likely already know the Tysvers. Tyler and Sara are both such wonderful and giving people.
Their family has been blessed with news that they're having a fourth child! The challenge is, Baby Tysver #4 has been diagnosed with a congenital heart defect called Coarctation of the Aorta.

The doctors have seen as much as they can "through" Sara and won't know the extent of what's needed to help Baby until he is born. Delivery is set for February 5th in Minneapolis. They are anticipating a minimum stay of three weeks after delivery. Baby will be quickly assessed and admitted to the NICU, with surgery likely at just a few days old. This could be longer yet, depending on what they find, and baby's recovery. Sara will stay in the hospital with Baby the entire time.
What this means for them is, in addition to balancing their busy young family, with all it's needs, events, teachable moments, and growing, Mom will be 3 hours away with Dad traveling back and forth and kids occasionally visiting as well.
Tyler's place of employment has been extremely flexible and generous and has told him to take all of the time he needs. He does, however have limited paid time off, and we'd love to help so that on top of all of the extra duties he will have to take on, worrying about how the bills will get paid won't be an issue for their family as he will feel torn between work life, home life, and Sara & baby in Minneapolis.
In addition to the burden of life's demands spread between home and the hospital in Minneapolis, there will be significant medical expenses associated with the surgeries and highly specialized care that Baby Tysver will be receiving. We have set a goal of raising $5,000 to get them started. After baby is born and we know more of what they will need, we may adjust this accordingly.
