Cora Sweet's Heart

20 weeks into the pregnancy, my aunt and uncle's baby girl was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) with pulmonary atresia - a rare and severe form of congenital heart disease. This hinders blood flow throughout the baby’s body, especially to the lungs. With this condition, Cora Sweet will need continual care and various procedures throughout her life.

Ever since I was little, my aunt Lele has been an extraordinary role model for me - as both my godmother and one of my best friends. Not only is she artistically talented, but she has a proclivity for seeing the best in people, and accepting everyone no matter what. When she and Josh got married, I was thrilled and inspired, for their love is something that shines brighter than any star. Together, they are amazing role models and exceedingly compassionate parents.

They homeschool all of their children and Lele runs her own pegdoll business - "sweet whimsy designs". However, she's not working full time until they know more about Cora's care plan. 
Additionally, Josh was laid off from his job, and is currently unemployed.

Cora Kinley Sweet is the most precious miracle I've ever held, and she deserves all the love and care we can give.
