Baby Roman’s Memorial

3/1/18. Our baby boy was brought into this world. Roman Anthony Williams. 9 pounds 21 inches at 11:37 am. What was supposed to be the happiest moment of our lives turned out to be the darkest. Roughly five minutes after his arrival, his heart started to decline. A team of doctors rushed into the room but despite their greatest efforts our Roman was gone. There were no complications during the pregnancy. He was in perfect health, so the doctors are not sure what caused such a tragedy. We are currently waiting for an autopsy to be performed to give us the answers that we all want & need. We wanted to be parents more than anything but it seems as though the universe had other plans for our sweet boy. No parent should ever have to bury their child, and there are no words to describe such a loss. Our hearts break and the amount of pain is unbearable. Each day has been a challenge and we would give anything to have him here in our arms. We continue to take each day one step at a time, accepting that things won’t get easier, but rather different.
