**edit: Wow! Everyone has been so amazing. In only two weeks through the Go Fund Me & people giving personally to Jerusha & Caleb, they have what they need to pay for their treatment.
Overwhelmed by the support & love from so many people. Our fundraiser is now done!

Hello everyone. My name is Laura, and for those of you who know me, know that Jerusha is one of my dearest friends. We originally met at Bar None Camp around ten years ago. I was counselling at camp that summer and Jerusha was one of my campers during teen camp. Jerusha grew to love the camp as much as I did, and returned for several summers to pour into the lives of a few hundred children during her time there. We also attended the same university, and got to become close friends.

In the summer of 2011, Jerusha and I were counselling at Bar None together. Her and Caleb were starting to become close at this time, and I remember us sitting in a room together, eating snacks, and she was writing a letter to Caleb who was on his internship in the States. Since Caleb also attended the same university we did, I had gotten to become friends with him as well.

Around Christmas time in 2012, I received a special Skype call from Jerusha, asking me to be a bridesmaid in their wedding in the summer of 2013. I was honored to be able to stand up with one of my closest friends on one of the most important days of her life.

Jerusha and Caleb have always had a soft spot in their hearts for children and youth. Jerusha had studied to be an elementary school teacher and Caleb studied to be a youth pastor. After graduating from university, Jerusha taught for a year while Caleb helped out at a church.

The following year, they moved back to the island that is very near and dear to Jerusha's heart. Caleb became the youth pastor at a church there and the two of them dedicated countless hours of their lives ministering to and encouraging the youth.

About two years after their happiest day ever - their wedding day - they had one of their saddest days. They found out that having biological children would not be an option.

They have been pursuing growing their family since 2014, and it has been a long process of testing, appointments, and closed & opened doors.

They have been waiting since February 2016 to pursue treatment at a fertility clinic and things were put on hold when they moved to Ottawa. Doors opened quickly in Ottawa and they will be pursuing treatment in early 2018!

This is such an exciting time for them! They have had several people approach them about giving to help alleviate some of the costs associated, so if you feel led to give, they would appreciate it from the bottom of their hearts.

I know that becoming parents is one of their greatest dreams. They have been praying and hoping for the last few years that this would become a reality to them. This is our chance to be a tactile answer to their prayers. This is our chance to help make their dream a reality. This is our chance to invest in their lives and their family and to do something they've often done for us - give hope. So please, consider supporting this dear couple during this exciting time of possibilities.

For those of you who can give - thank you.
For those of you who are praying - thank you.
For those of you who have been encouraging and supporting Caleb and Jerusha throughout this process - thank you.

It will be so special when the day comes that Caleb and Jerusha can tell their child stories about all those people who invested in their family and about how God answered their prayers. Thank you for being a part of that story.

**Caleb and Jerusha request that you do not give anonymously as they would like to personally reach out and thank everyone for their support.
