Baby Peyton Medical Expenses

September 7, 2016 God sent an angel to this earth. Peyton Lea Farley came into our lives and little did we know just how much of a blessing she would be! When Peyton was a month old the doctors called T.J. and Jess and told them that their precious angel had Wolf- Hirschhorn Syndrome. WHS is a rare syndrome where there is a depletion of the 4th chromosome. They were saddened with the news but they turned to God for guidance and strength and they felt Blessed that God selected them to be her parents.

T.J. and Jess were given all of the information about WHS and that it is a case by case basis and no 2 WHS cases are the same. With this syndrome can come many different complications and health issues. At birth they discovered that Peyton has a large hole in her heart and lung issues. She has already been to Cincinnati for one heart procedure and will have to have more in the future. During all of this T.J. and Jess have remained strong and never lost faith.

Most recently has been the hardest time for the family of 3. On June 29, 2017 Peyton had a seizure,  was placed in PICU,  was sedated,  and placed on a ventilator. She was in the hospital for seven days. Since then she has been in the hospital five more times with seizures. On September 7, 2017 (her 1st Birthday) Peyton had a Grand Mal seizure that lasted for over 3 hours. After that, the doctors, along with T.J. and Jess decided that it would be best to send her to Cleveland Clinic for treatment. So on September 8, 2017 Peyton was airlifted to Cleveland Clinic in hopes of finding the best treatment for her.
