Baby Needs A Security Deposit!

Hello friends! You normally know me as part of Film Geeks San Diego, and the director of Horrible Imaginings Film Festival. What you may also know is that arts endeavors lead to perpetually empty bank accounts. My wife Tiffany and I have been fine and happy living in a very small 500-square foot room. Fine and happy, that is, until we were surprised with the news of a baby on the way.
I know this has been exciting and garnered many congratulations from our friends and family, but I have been rather panicked. The good news is that we found a FANTASTIC place to live in Paradise Hills--almost FOUR TIMES the square footage of what we have now. The bad news is that we will have to break our current lease and come up with a $3800 security deposit to move in by March 1.
With zero dollars in savings and nearly 100K in debt, this is going to be nearly impossible. For the sake of our newest family member, we are going to try online panhandling and beg our friends and family for help. We KNOW we have the best support system a human could hope for. If you are an out-of-town friend, maybe you could think of this as a super cheap online baby shower! We know we will still need diapers, clothes, and other baby goodies, but a reliable place to live is pretty dire! Yikes!
